"A photograph never grows old. You and I change, people change all through the months and years, but a photograph always remains the same. How nice to look at a photograph of mother or father taken many years ago. You see them as you remember them. But as people live on, they change completely. That is why I think a photograph can be kind." -- Quote by Albert Einstein

About Andribots

I am a compulsive documentarian, and the photos I take are the visual cues to my memory bank—to those moments of joy, sadness, exhilaration, anger, contemplation, inspiration, love, boredom, beauty, etc. that I observed or experienced for myself. I have found that while the memories behind the photographs are very personal to me, that the emotions or feelings behind them are often readily accessible to others who view my photographs.

My name is Andri Prasetyo, was born in Jakarta in 1976. My nickname is Andribots, acquired when I was in college at ITENAS Bandung because I cut off my hair. I started intensive photography since 2008 and was limited to just a hobby. I worked as telecommunication engineer and was assigned to a GSM telecommunication company in Jakarta.

I currently use an old Nikon D70 and very old HELIOS MC 81H (81N) 50mm F2. I like to use manual lens than auto focus lens.
